The troubles I have seen.
So, buying new-to-me, certified pre-owned wheels was great in a "hey, this car is awesome and I got a great deal!" way, but it means car payments and about $380 worth of related expenses these past couple weeks, from diagnosing the old jalopy to a couple days of rental cardom.
Well, I was pretty much back on the horse since I tend not to be a big spender and all that, but I also had tuition to pay this past month so uh . . . yeah, that. It's for one class but still, when you're going loanless it's a HOLY SHIT CHUNK O MONEH.
So, having proudly put a sizable dent in that as well, I was feeling pretty good, though still a bit poor.
And then, the front screen of my 6 month old phone died. Ugh.
Without even disassembling it they insisted there was moisture behind the screen, manufacture's warranty won't cover that, no we can't fix it, etc. I could just punch a kitten because the screen stopped working while it was in my pocket which was for sure *not* wet. I would have noticed. Not like they believe you though.
So, I was told I could get the 1-year contract price on a new phone BUT STILL, nothing says "here, have some debt!" like forking over another $150.
Which is why I'm not doing it until next month.
