What a time it was

I finally made it to a Denver Hearse Association (DHA) meet! Six Flags: Elitch Gardens sponsored this event to kick off their seasonal Fright Fest. The free tickets called my name, So I reved up King Louie, grabbed Phil, and headed down. Highlights included but were not limited to:
-Staying with Zachary Helm (
pyrotech_c3h8) and Amber on the night before the event.
-Watching Zac wrestle his bumper into shape using a come-along and a light pole in a not-so-dark corner of a not-so-abandoned parking lot.
-Gathering 18 of the most stunning cars ever made into the entrance parking lot of Six Flags, and larking about with my fellow hearse enthusiasts.
-The coffin race
-Parking in the front (handicapped) parking lot (I took up no less than four parking spots, one tire planted firmly in each).
-Riding all the rides until the lines got slightly long, leaving and taking a 2 hour nap, and coming back after everyone left and riding all the rides again.
-Icing the cake with Jet Li's "Fearless."

Me 'n' The King

Not all the cars, but the best I could do.

Didn't get a shot of the finish. Someone jumped in front of me.
