I was going to post a big long rant about how the media needs to get over the death of Anna Nicole Smith, but I could not get over how pissed off this makes me.
How about reporting something useful, such as plans to correct a misguided and illegal war, correcting the problems and international tension a corrupt president and administration have caused the united states, global warming, or even the asteroid Apothis that could hit us in 2036. These seem to be slightly more important than a washed up celebrity. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against them reporting her death, but do I need to see a montage about her life on the news? Save that bullshit for Fox News or A&E or whatever station would air that. Keep the news for reporting news.
