Putting Him Back Together
Oliver understood him in ways no one else had ever understood Percy. He let him cry on his shoulder whenever the grief for Fred was unbearable, let him lie lazily on the couch when he was feeling empty inside, doing nothing but reading. He firecalled the Weasley’s to excuse Percy from their weekly gathering whenever Percy felt too emotional to see them without breaking down completely.
Oliver understood that Percy wasn’t emotionless, that he could also break. Percy faced the world every day without showing any weaknesses, knowing that Oliver would always put him back together whenever Percy needed it.
