(no subject)
At the beginning of my conference they told us "don't go to everything, this weekend is for you. Go to some things, but take a break for crying out loud, you're in california" so I took advantage of this advice today. All I wanted to do was see the Pacific ocean, I didn't even care if I saw it at a beach. I was cool with just going by rocks.
Anyway, I went to the hotel desk and asked them "hey, how can I get to the beach without a car?" and they mentioned the trolley tour that goes all over the city. So naturally I took advantage of it and we went everywhere. I was just expecting to go to the rocky beach down the road...but we ended up going to Coronado Island and that was BEAUTIFUL! I stood there with my feet in the water for almost a good hour. It was cold...but awesome. We stopped at the museum district, the canyon, the zoo, downtown, old-town, then back to the hotel. I was gone a good 4 hours and it was GREAT! I got some great pictures going over the Coronado bridge...awesome panoramic view of downtown.
Anyway, tonight is my last night here. Man, I'm gonna miss this place a ton! Got a coffee talk time with Vince in the morning so that should be good, then it's off to the airport. I want to stay....
