Pounds lost since camp = 10

I knew I would start losing weight again as soon as I began living on my own. It's crazy...I think I'm the only person that gains weight in the summer, and loses it in the winter. (granted, it's not winter yet, but you know what I mean). Here's why...

In the summer:
I have to eat camp food. Now camp food is not horrible, but it's definitely not even close to my diet. I also have to be somewhere on a moments notice if I get called on the radio (which is usually once or twice a day)...which means I have to have some sort of transportation besides the two walking apparatuses attached to my body.

In the Fall/Winter/Spring
I choose my diet. Believe it or not, I become somewhat of a health nut when I'm able to chose what I eat. Also, I have a regular workout schedule. Sure I'm behind a desk all day, but as soon as I get home I go run on the elyptical machine for a good 45 minutes, then do a bit of weight training. It's a pretty regular schedule.

Well, next August Amy, Justin, and I are headed over to the UK to do some touristy stuff, see old friends, and a bit of backpacking which means I have to stay in shape next summer. Only good way to do this? Buy a bike. I can still be anywhere on a moments notice...but I have to actually work to get there. and B. start cooking a bit of my own food. Sure I don't want to all the time...mostly because I don't HAVE the time to do that in the summer, but 1 meal a day on my own diet will suffice.

Speaking of the UK...I've been doing a bit of research about what to do in Scotland. I want to do a backpacking trip in the highlands and I found a website that lets YOU make your own trip...but they help you out with all the logistics! I would be cool with just going for like 3 days!

Okay, onto another subject. Indy...is pretty awesome. I don't consider myself much of a city-girl, but I am slowly becoming one. There is so much to do here..I love it. Also, I've chosen a church..which means I'm starting to get involved in other things...starting to make some new friends, etc. I can't tell you how excited I am that I get to stay in one place for at least a year..hopefully 5.

Hmm..what else? Get to go back to Envision next Sunday for night worship! DEFINITELY looking forward to that! I miss you guys!!!
