If there is anything I miss from SAU...(besides the people)..it's my youth ministry classes. They were, by far, the most challenging classes to my faith and I plan on using some of the material for TDP weekends. These few questions came from a blog by my old Youth Ministry professor and it's pretty much some of the most challenging questions I've ever seen. Check 'em out.
Why did Jesus only yell at "believers?"
Should we shift our focus from being "Protestants" to becoming "Embracients?"
Why did Jesus never ask anyone "do you know where you'd end up if you died tonight?"
When did the disciples become "born-again?"
Is there a difference in the Bible between an "Elder" and a "Pastor?"
Should we more concerned about trying to get people to heaven or bringing heaven to earth?
Why are there no HUGE Christian eviromental movements?
Was Jesus' death and resurrection bigger than just individual salvation?
and last but not least...my favorite...
Would you still be a Christian if Heaven WASN'T part of the picture?
These are all hypothetical questions, but I like 'em cause they actually make me think. :)
