(no subject)
Hello Livejournal...I haven't seen you in a couple days...which is weird for me. Okay anyway, after an AMAZING weekend home, monday morning after "breakfast with bocheka" (yeah, sounds like a PBS show to me) I headed off to camp! I had to make a nice little stop in Indy and apparently found out I was already supposed to be at camp Sunday night...oops. Eh well. So I get here and immediately get to work. TONS of stuff to do...but it's coming together very nicely. That Night Margaret was showing me all the cool places on camp that I hadn't seen yet. This place is HUGE.
Tuesday I headed off to find out what the camp had equipment-wise...which was almost nothing. Therefore, schnitzel got to do a TON of ordering :) heck yes! I also got to get in the pool Tuesday night...and felt like I did some exercise!
Wednesday was filled with scheduling scheduling scheduling. I have a tough time sitting at a desk for 8 hours so luckily that night Megan came out here and we hiked the Red and Redblue trails, along with the creekbed! There's all sorts of cool stuff back in those woods. Loads of Geodes in the creekbed and I got a giant one. It's being cleaned in the lodge as we speak and hopefully gonna be broken open sometime soon. That night I also managed to step on a snake (okay mom...you can shiver now) and saw a brown recluse...plus got 3 ticks on me in a 10 minute period. woot! But it was all good. Good to hang with Megan again too!
Tonight...Margaret and I are debating on seeing Pirates 3...I definitely want to see it soon, however, it's a possibility for this weekend in NASHVILLE! Stepholy is meeting me here around 4 tomorrow and then we're headed on down! woo hoo!!!!!
Well, that's about all I've got for now. So nice to be at camp though instead of stuck in an office in Indy. Granted, I love my job, but this scenery is beautiful here!
