booooooooooooooored
Okay here's the deal. Write 10 totally random facts about yourself, then tag three people to do the same thing.
1. I love the word exfoliating. If something says "exfoliating" on it, chances are, I'll buy it because it makes me feel good. For instance, tonight I'm at my aunt's house and I showered....and in her shower was a foot scrub that said "exfoliating foot scrub"....and i used it...and now my feet feel amazing!
2. I only wash my hair when it gets greasy. Sounds a bit gross, but actually it's good. You're not supposed to wash your hair every day...and I've noticed a difference. I don't need a trim all the flipping time because I don't have split ends :)
3. I will talk to anyone and everyone....everywhere. I'm turning into my grandma. This is mostly due to my job. As a barista, I am supposed to chit chat with everyone that comes in the store. I've gotten to know some of the regulars, and tonight I was in walmart and I heard someone go "that's the higher grounds girl" and then looked at me and waved! Yeah regulars!
4. The older I get, the longer I want to wait to get married. This was DEFINITELY NOT always true. But recently I've been realizing how much fun it is to be single. I mean seriously, I get to go to Italy at the end of June with all my single friends, and then I can move pretty much anywhere I want to after that because I'm not attached to anyone.
5. I miss Ozanam...and I'd probably chose Ozanam over Lakewood if I end up doing camp again this summer....which is COMPLETELY out of Character for me...but there's good reasoning behind it. I totally love my Lakewood peeps, but L-dub doesn't really challenge me. It's mostly middle-class white people from northern Indiana....like everyone. Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE Lakewood, but at Ozanam, people come from soooooo many different backgrounds, different cultures, and different social classes...and I LOVE IT. I work directly with the kids for 24 hours a day, and it's ridiculously challenging...but so fun.
6. I want to do more Adventure Challenge with camps...like the low and high ropes courses.
7. I like almost every kind of music, but I go through phases where I become OBSESSED with like 1 genre or artist. I'm still on my Jason Mraz kick...but lately it's turning into a Frank Sinatra/Dean Martin kick....and soon I will have 2 new cd's :)
8. I really feel sorry for people who don't enjoy life. I mean, yes, there's crappy parts to it...but overall, I'm here...I might as well make the best of it.
9. If I was offered a job in England, and in California...I'd chose England...and you know what my reasoning would be? California is too far away....lol. How weird is that? England is actually farther, but california is uncharted territory for me. At least I know England, and I know English culture...and I know I LOVE England.
10. I'm a girly girl at heart. Sure I usually don't wear make-up, hair goes up in a ponytail, and sweatpants go on as soon as I get home from the coffee shop...but if it weren't for work, I'd dress up a ton more. Plus, let's face it, I talk about boys like they're going out of style :)
