Hm. Quite a few of you internet savvy fellows (and fellettes?) have been offering drabbles of different sorts. I confess I haven't been able to think much of what I'd like to read. Perhaps it would be better to offer drabbles of my own, to get a better idea.

All the same, that is what I've chosen to do here.
However, as I am unfamiliar with all the new arrivals, I think I will limit it to one main subject I know very well (and yet not well enough for my liking):
