What airline did you fly?
I usually fly United. They are nice enough to "sell" you food.
Sounds like most of my flights out of SFO. I always seem to sit next to mister big businessman who'se writing or typing on his computer, elbows out at maximum poke angle, and a foot under each seat but his own.
