The new project
.. is to try a Prosperity Challenge in TS3. I've managed to make a Levittown (old fascination of mine)-esque setup in CAW, and I've got five families written up and ready to be made.
The lineup:
Family 1, Sam Rokonski and Lana Douglas. May-December couple starting out as roommates: he's a mature dark-eyed gentleman from foreign shores, she's a blue-eyed brunette who just graduated from Sim State U.
Family 2, Rayne Newman, Lance Barelli, Hazim Khoury, Ben Reid and Gemma Oakridge. They're a bunch of young adults who tired of the city life and decided to join forces (i.e their meager cash) and take a stab at a new life in this brand new town. Lance and Hazim were roommates in Académie Le Tour, dropped out together to start a foundling IT company and then lost it all in the recession. They met Rayne, Ben and Gemma while working the same dead-end cubicle job.
Family 3, Victor, Adora, Owen, Eduardo, Carmen and Dominic Hernandez. Adora and Victor had a fiery romance and a hasty wedding, with Owen being born a scant seven months later. Owen looks remarkably like his mother, something Victor's always felt uncertain about. Yet they now have three more children who he really knows are his. He's almost positive. Maybe a new city, away from all the old.. acquaintances will make him feel better.
Family Type: Nuclear 3+ children
Family 4, Hector, Doris, Tabitha, Kent and Sal Abbott. Hector is feeling his age. He worries that he'll leave Doris alone with their three children much too soon. Doris has decided to wait until the Abbotts are established in their new town before telling Hector about the soon to come additional family member.
Family 5, Adam, Raven, Nick, Frank, Ocean, Harmony and Bill Sharpe. Adam'd just gotten comfortable and settled in in his life as a widower when all his childrens' lives seemingly went to heck in a handbasket at the same time. Raven lost her job, Nick got thrown in jail for six months for selling illegally hacked bubble blowers and Frank's wife left him for the mailman. After living with his kids and grandkids all crammed together in his bachelor apartment for a year, the old man finally decided it was time for a break. It was time to move. Maybe here in this new place the kids'll get back on their feet so they'll quit stomping on his.
