SPRING BREAK, WOO!
Winter Quarter madness 2008 has been over for a few days now -- highlights of finals weeks included a fifteen minute deliberation at 1:45am of whether or not I should sleep for a half an hour in the Student Government Office (Thank God for the 24-hour Student Center during finals week) and then keep working or to go home and sleep properly for three hours. I chose the latter. So far, my grades have been good although I still don't have a grade for History of American Religion or Commercial Theatre Management 2. Let me tell you a little bit about Commercial Theatre Management 2. The teacher only teaches our class. There are three students in it total, including myself. I am utterly mystified why it needs to take this long. Come on.
Classes for next quarter include:
Management 307: Human Resource Management
Dramatic Criticism
Modern Judaism
Special Topics in Theatre Studies: Legal Issues and the Arts
History, Religion and Material Culture in Mesoamerica
Commercial Theatre Management 3: Finances (boo! Two things I hate: budgets AND commercial theatre AND I hear the the professor is really strict.)
Next year I am very likely taking an independent study of Yiddish Literature. I am pretty psyched.
So, Spring Break has been good -- it's mainly consisted of people getting me presents, me opening them, and me avoiding doing any work = Perfect. I now am the proud owner of a stuffed green worm and a cute red coat, among other things.
For those of you who don't know- - I'm turning TWENTY ONE on March 27 (THURSDAY) and am going to a fant-abulous drag club called the Kit Kat Lounge. It should be rockin'. Hopefully pictures will be up soon.
Other goals for Spring Break include:
~ Work on Production Practice stuff
~ Work on Student Government stuff
~ Finish reading Everything Is Illuminated
~ Finish reading The Varieties of the Religious Experience
~ Write more
~ Clean my room as drunken female friends will be staying the night on Thursday
~ Become a superhero
Oh, I think that this is all possible. Especially the superhero part.
