Ridiculous
Remember that little girl who sang at the Olympic opening ceremonies? Well that wasn't her singing. Apparently Chinese Olympic Officials decided that the little girl who was supposed to sing wasn't pretty enough. So they picked a "prettier" girl to lip-sync, and just dubbed the original's voice over it.
I think that's HORRIBLE. Can you imagine how the first girl must feel? The poor child was only a FIRST grader!
"Oh, I'm sorry 7 year old child with an INCREDIBLE voice...but you're too ugly to be on camera in front of the whole world. You would give China a bad name if we showed your hideous face on Television.....so we'll get this girl with no vocal talent what-so-ever to pretend to sing because she's prettier than you. You understand right.... seven year old??"
And even though it doesn't matter....the poor girl was, by NO means, unattractive. In fact she was down right adorable.
Shame on you China :(
