Union made the official announcement today: as of this summer, our new president will be Dr. Serene Jones! She's been on the faculty at Yale in the gender and sexuality studies department, and previously in the african american studies department (though she is white, which is pretty neat). She's a single mother and the first woman president of Union.

Yay for new leadership! Although of course Joe Hough did amazing things to get Union back on its feet, and basically saved its ass from bankruptcy. But it is time for him to retire, yay for him too.
