i take pictures
so I did yoga yesterday with one of the professors who works with the worship and arts department/focus, and as we were standing around beforehand, she mentioned my taking photos in chapel the past few weeks (for the Call). We started talking about the possibility of doing a Theology and the Arts concentration in photography, and taking classes at Columbia School of the Arts. Besides the fact that I detest Columbia students (what can I say, it's like Brown minus the cool kids...), that sounds like an amazing opportunity.
I'm not sure the logistics of all that right now (i.e. whether I would end up with two degrees, or just a photography/arts focus in my M.Div, which I think is more likely), but oh MAN i am pretty excited about that. I've been tossing the idea around, and sort of wanting to take photography classes at NYU or something, but maybe now that I've been talking to an actual professor about that, I will make it happen. That would pretty much rock.
