holy busy life batman!
I can't believe it is monday again! The weekend sped by in a glorious fury and I'll be teaching again in an hour. I spent a couple hours working on my second routine with my nia friend, Kimberly so I'm hoping that will pay off to make me more confident teaching this routine. It is a fun one though and I'm enjoying getting to know it better. It has this insane song of thievery corporation where david byrne is singing "welcome to my spaceship".
The weekend was mostly taken up with burlesque and santa fun.
3 shows in a row with a bunch of driving to get there. Duncan, Nanaimo and Vic on Saturday. I was the pick up artist and props diva and truly experienced the back stage extravaganza that is the Cheesecake Burlesque. On New Years Eve, I'll be performing my debut in Vic.
Santacon was saturday and the red and white menace were out in full force. Over 80 santas this year cruised around. I joined them here and there including the jellyfish lounge - an uber white fancy modernish new club that really is the nicest basement in town. Santa was hammered at that point and various santas were trying to get into my candy cane pants to no avail.
Yoga, dance class, craft party and a little visit in china town and the whole weekend is done!
