My organized closet

I finally got my bedroom closet all organized. I feel like I've been working on this forever. But it's finally clutter-free. Here's how it looks:

Along the right side are LYCKEBY storage boxes from IKEA. ($12.99 / 2 pack ). I use them to store my extra clothes.

The 2 large boxes are also LYCKEBY boxes from IKEA. They currently cost $8.99/each and are great for storing extra bedding and off-season clothes.

Under the bottom shelf I stored my suitcase full of my other extra bags.

I have a hanging sweater bag on the pole (they can be purchased at Target, Linens and Things, Bed Bath and Beyond, IKEA, or other home improvement stores for $7-25.

I put plastic sterilite containers in each opening to hold my hats, socks, undergarments, belts, and winter gear. The plastic containers cost me $1 each when I bought them.

The wood hangers can be purchased at most department stores. Prices vary. I purchased mine at Target.com @ $20 for 30 hangers

The shelving are just those stacking things that can be purchased at Target, or other dept stores for $8.99-$14.99 (depending on style and store). The black ones I purchased in 2000 and haven't seen that color since. Most stores carry them in white and light brown. be aware that different brands cannot interlock. I use the bottom row for my shoes and the rest for other storage.

The storage boxes in the shelving are from the KASSETT storage series from IKEA. I've had a lot of my KASSETT store boxes for a couple years and they have held up well (even in a storage unit). They come in packs of 2 and range from $3.99-9.99. I use them for everything: from storing CDs, sewing patterns, and paperwork to art supplies, binders and other stuff. I have some in my closets and others out on my shelves since they look nice enough to use as decoration.

I've purchased all this over the past 4 years so it didn't 'hurt' the budget too much. but to do it all at once would cost anywhere from $140-$180 depending on where you go to buy everything. I highly recommend IKEA for boxes and waiting for sales at Target or another dept store for the shelving, hangers etc would definately cut down on the cost.
