Full Apartment! (are you sick of me yet?)
Some of you asked in my last post for a full apartment tour. So here is the image-heavy post to prove that I have more to my home than a living room and guest room...
coming up the front stairs. the only time i will ever even kind of post my kitchen.
top of the stairs; babies from mali, mask from ghana. my apartment is a random mix of african art, kitsch, and antique gems.
down the hallway we go, bedroom is the door at the end.
this is the studio, more specifically my boyfriend's studio... you can just tell by the door that it is a disaster in there.
just a peek. this is where collaging happens, messes are made, and I am eternally cringing at gesso ending up on beautiful hardwood floors :/
into the bedroom!
that bedspread is one of my favorite things in my apartment. the wall color came from the irrational NEED to have a cadmium red light wall in our place. the paint is Behr "fire island"
depending on the lighting it varies from traffic cone orange to deep salmon. it took some adjusting to, but i am currently loving it.
cats & inappropriate folk art & dante's inferno.
back in the living room/dining room area of the apartment.
my table was the yard sale find of the century.
rocking chair that was my grandmother's.
I've already posted my living room on here, but this is the painting above my couch. The artist is Thorpe Feidt.
The wall color is Disney's Hometown Hero.
and lastly, the recently posted guest room.

that star projector is pretty amazing also.
Wall color in this room is Behr "desert glow" and the stenciling is done in Behr "powdered snow" and Behr "Beluga".
