A Portland apartment.

Hello! This is my latest home, in NE Portland, Oregon. You may remember me from former apartments, such as this one:

Or maybe even this one:

I moved into this apartment last summer and some of these photos were taken a few months ago, so that's why you might notice some inconsistencies. My homes are never finished, I often re-arrange things until the day I move out.

This room was a porch back in the day. Now I use it as a reading nook. I looooove this room. It's so nice to be in here with all the windows open on a sunny day.

That window on the left wall goes to the bathroom, just to give you an idea of how the apartment is laid out. Basically the bathroom is in the middle of the apartment and everything else is in kind of a circle around it. Or, technically, a square. My cat enjoys running laps around the apartment.

That's a Tord Boontje Garland light, which I attached to this nine foot long branch that I lugged home (several miles on foot, heh) from Buena Vista park in San Francisco, and then moved back to Portland with me.

Yes I watch TV. In bed. I'm not ashamed.

Here's the main entrance to my apartment (there's a back door as well, off the kitchen). You can't see it here but when you come through the door to the immediate right there's a little hallway which leads to the kitchen and the bathroom.

Here's the hallway. Not that interesting to look at, and it usually has some clutter on top of the cabinets there (this was right after I moved in, pre-clutter). I need to figure out a good storage situation for the stuff that accumulates here. Inside the cabinets are my shoes and some bathroom stuff. The door to the bathroom is on the left.

I love my cute kitchen. This was taken right after I moved in, I actually have it a bit more set up now but I forgot to take a new photo.

Looking through the kitchen into the sun room/reading nook.

Last but not least, the bathroom with kind of wacky orange/peach tiles. I enjoy them.
