Wow, that's brilliant! What kind of paint did you use for that? Was the base piece untreated/plain wood or did you have to sand off a veneer to do that?

it was untreated wood. On sale for $25 so couldnt beat that.
I painted it with regular ol flat/matte house wall paint.
When it was done I put down a sealer so it wouldnt chip or get dirty.
