Saucy green mini cactuses0_clay_0June 19 2009, 14:02:10 UTC
I have been lurking for a little while now - I love this community, it's so inspiring! So I really hope my first contribution isn't completely off topic, but... I simply love my new set of mini cactuses and want to share it with you! :-D This is how I arranged them:
Green is my favorite color, so I'm hoping for some really inspiring contributions here!
Unfortunately I don't have any good, up-to-date pictures of my green room in the house, but I do have a few photos of my favorite green space out of the house.
This is from early spring, post weeding and clearing out of winter brush, etc.
I am so pleased with how everything has finally come together; I wish I could take better pictures to do it all justice! About two weeks ago the whole area was filled with different colors of Asiatic Lilies, but I couldn't get He Who Can Operate a Camera to get a pic in time. But hey, now we have bee balm and daylilies!
I've been piddling around with it all for about five years, now, and this year was the first year that I could finally look at it and say "Hey, this actually looks like there was some thought and effort put into it!" LOL!
haha whoops! you caught me before i could delete my misspelled post and repost a corrected comment! it really is lovely, and looks like a lot of effort has gone into it, while still keeping a natural, organic vibe.
WOW I LOVE that color green! The red flower accents are perfect in there, and it looks great with the dark brown wood finish. Love your cork board too I keep intending to do that with gusto, but butter flies and shiny things always distract me.
