can we count electronics? :P

my favorites are the TI-99 on top of the record player receiver, and the vintage blue fan that will totally cut your fingers off if you get too close.

i also have some vintage pieces in my bedroom:

the armoire was passed down from my great-grandmother, the quilt on top of it was hand-quilted by my other great-grandmother. the desk and mirror are also vintage, although not really significant in any way.

That colour test print/painting is genius.
I'm totally stealing that idea.

i only wish mine was bigger... but that was the biggest piece of plywood i could find at the time, and i didn't want to have to wait.

family pieces are the best! :D i also have a vintage sewing table in my sewing room (that was my grandmother's)... it's kind of ugly, though. if i can get a power sander (because sanding suuuucks), i'm going to sand it down and paint it white.

I have a fan like that too, but with even less protective metal on the front. But you know what? It's the best fan!

i need to figure out somewhere to place it where the cat can't get into it... the first year i got her, she moved too close to the fans and shaved all her whiskers off!

Oh no! I put mine up on top of a bookshelf that's about 5 feet tall and my cats don't seem to bother it, but they're old.
