We've painted the living room and purchsed a few new things since my last post. Our living room no longer looks like McDonald's. YAYAY! (If anyone remembers, it was a yellow and red. Blah.)
So here are the pictures...
Also, I need some advice.
Thanks!!!

Ok now for the advice I need.
There is a loft for rent in August, downtown Columbus. $900/month. No parking. I'm pretty sure there is no laundry on site. But, I could walk to work in 15 min. and it is in an adorable location. You can't find anything under 1,000 downtown that is nice.
My question is... do you think there is a chance this space could be saucified w/o spending tons of money? If I rent it, I would love to install a real kitchen and some walls possibly. But my budget wouldn't be very high. Also, keep in mind, part of this space will be used for my boyfriends art studio. Do you think it's too small, is there room to grow? We are so spoiled right now with 3 bdrm, a sunroom, a basement with washer/dryer, a porch, the works. All for $650/month. Has anyone had any experience with down sizing to this extreme, did it work or did you hate it?
Thanks!!!
