My Brown & Blue Bedroom - Lots of Pix
This is in response to someone's request last week for blue and brown rooms.
The bed. I even put the matching bedskirt on but I forgot to take a picture of that.
Detail of nightstand. I love this lamp. It used to be in the guest room we stayed at at my grandparents' house.
,,, Oh look, you can see a bit of the bedskirt, too!
Northeast corner of the room. Will be making new curtains before summer - I hate these curtains!
Also need to use a violet-ish watercolor paint on the fan, which is one of the last aqua-blue things in the room since the great aqua purge/periwinkle induction.
These shelves may or may not stay in the room. If they do, I'll finish filling them with art books. On top are some canisters with guest-size goodies snagged from hotel rooms, some new Jade plants, and one of those lights that spins a picture on the wall.
Facing south. This dresser really needs to be repainted.
Guest towels
This is the best I could do to get a detail of the roller-blind. I used brown and blue sharpies to draw berried branches on them. I did it delicately and I think I'd like to go back over the design a bit bolder... and I need to do the 3rd one!
I have some artwork shot and chosen for the walls, but I haven't had the time or funds to get it framed properly.
and one more I can't seem to find on this computer... hmmmm.
