I think I will volunteer to make dinner tomorrow night. Here are the challenges: I am at my grandparents' house. Grandpa has advanced dementia and refuses to eat a lot of things because he thinks someone is trying to poison him. Also, no one but me has teeth, so it has to be soft/overcooked. Nothing spicy. What should I make? And, go.

What is soft enough to eat without teeth? I have no concept of this. Like, is pasta soft enough? Or are we talking like, soup?

Oh, they don't literally have no teeth. They just have very few teeth, and the ones they have are of questionable density. For instance, tonight we made it through salmon which, thank god, my uncle did not overcook and no one accused anyone of trying to food poison anyone else, because that is usually what happens when you serve properly cooked fish around here.

I don't either but I love what I imagine to be pan o' cheese. Like macaroni and cheese, but without the macaroni.
