(no subject)
I finally finished The House of the Spirits. It wasn't great, but it could have been much, much worse. I started Invisible Man and I already have a lot underlined and highlighted...lots of bits I like out of context, but I don't like them strung together. I think I may just read it as if I were reading Harper's Book of Quotations and see how that works. And if all else fails, SparkNotes!
Got a call at about 2am...and another at 2.15, when I didn't answer the first, from Daniel Carraway, love of my life, demanding Emily and I meet him and Scotty J and other assorted 03 kids (plus scott's older brother) at Perkins. At 2.30am. Riiiight. But....it made me happy, because I miss those boys like I can't even say.
