Oh End-of-The-Year Survey, how I can't seem to stop filling you out! Just as a reminder before the big one:
1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Avoiding the absolutely obvious... I finally came out of my shell. I showed people who I really am and don't regret it at all
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I'm happy to say I kept every resolution I made. Hence, I think I can take a break for this upcoming year.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
A cousin had a lovely baby girl!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My dad's sister, an aunt, died in Puerto Rico a few days before my birthday, unfortunately.
5. What countries did you visit?
I stayed in the States mostly. I did get to see Missouri though, and I went back to Puerto Rico!
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
I'm really not sure... I'm actually quite content.
7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
March 24 - The day Eddie asked me out.
July 7th - My cousin's wedding in Puerto Rico (yes, another one)
September 3/4 - Personal. Nuff said.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I led the Pubsingers in revels and actually got them to harmonize beautifully! I also survived my first semester of RYEO with flying colors.
9. What was your biggest failure?
I ... I... I don't think I failed anything. I failed at failing?!
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nope. Just the usual paranoias that turn out to be nothing.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A movie ticket to "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest"
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My mom's. She stopped kidnapping me every weekend and actually let me build a social life here!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I could say, but I'd rather not...
14. Where did most of your money go?
Little presents for someone I love. =^_^=
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Oh gee... getting sappy now... well, finding someone who loves me as much as I love him. Still am!
16. What song will always remind you of 2006?
Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger - It was my mantra for making this year the best I've ever had.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? SO MUCH HAPPIER!
ii. thinner or fatter? About the same with slight, slight pudge.
iii. richer or poorer? Still pretty poor. Thanks tuition.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Learning how to drive. I still don't know how. Driving scares me though.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Reading full novels at the last minute.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I'll be going home and chilling with the family again. And my kitty.
22. Did you fall in love in 2006?
Indeed. For real this time, and I've never been happier.
23. How many one-night stands?
Absolutely none. Not my kinda thing.
24. What was your favorite TV program?
Does "Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged" count?
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nope. It's been a love-filled year for me.
26. What was the best book you read?
"Real Women Have Curves," the play by Josefina Lopez
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Awesome Pagan groups I played for Samhain this year.
28. What did you want and get?
I wanted to have the best year of my life, and I got it!
29. What did you want and not get?
No idea. I think I did all I desired this year.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest"
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I chilled with my aunt and later with Sarah, and started my last year before adulthood.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Nothing! Everything went perfectly this year.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
For the last time, I don't really have one.
34. What kept you sane?
My family and all of my friends, old and new. And of course, Eddie.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The crusade for gay marriage. It should happen and soon.
37. Who did you miss?
Everyone I couldn't hang out with this past summer
38. Who was the best new person you met?
I would have to say everyone's homeboy, Kyle.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006.
Life is just full of little surprises. Don't abandon something you think was impossible, because there's always a chance it is possible and it will make your life better.

1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
I wrote something I'm actually proud of. :)
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Never made one last year, but here's mine for this year: GET INTO GRAD SCHOOL!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No babies this year... must be an every other year thing for me.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope. Must be working on the same scale as the babies.
5. What countries did you visit?
I remained in this one, although I managed to get out of Jersey quite a few times.
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
A B.A. in English. Other than that, I'm once again very content with my life. ^_^
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
All of Summer has to go here. It was the best one ever, and held endless Kasbah parties and my love's 21st year.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Pulling off an A in a class I was definitely getting a B- in during Midterms. Still don't know how I did that one.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Putting off my applications. Constantly.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I has a case of plague early this year, but other than that, nope.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A whole day in New York City. <3

My adviser, for having me in three classes and his infinite patience with my typo-infested papers. (I know, shameful)
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Someone I thought had a better head on her shoulders. Guess not.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Either to the bank or to more little things for Eddie.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Halloween, which was awesome. And Revels, which was even more awesome!
16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
Siul a Run. It was a Celtic Year, apparently.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Even happier than last year. YAY!!!
ii. thinner or fatter? It wavered a lot, but I think I'm back where I started, funny that.
iii. richer or poorer? Poor in cash, rich in love. I like it this way.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Auditioning and doing DUDS related stuff. I never realized how much I missed theatre until now.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Listening to people's problems instead of referring them to professionals.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I did spend it, with the family. And Kitty. While missing some folks.
22. Did you fall in love in 2007?
No. I did stay in love though. ;)

None, as usual.

I would have to say either Death Note or Robot Chicken.

Not really.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling.

The Mediaeval Baebes and the source of the Epic Maneuver song.

More Cowbell. Ha, no, actually, It was to keep the happiness I got last year, which I did.

Finished Grad School applications

Stardust, hands down.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I went to Behihana with the family and Eddie, and said buh-bye to being a teenager. ^_^
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
I could never ask for more than what I had this year.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
Is it decent? Ok. Is it not decent? Sometimes Ok.
34. What kept you sane?
A lot of my friends, and Eddie.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The future of this country.
37. Who did you miss?
I didn't really miss anyone til right about now. (EDIT: That's a dirty lie. I missed Ali all of Fall Semester while she was in London. I don't know how I forgot that!)
38. Who was the best new person you met?
Kay, who is amazing!
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007.
My life is completely different from everyone else's, and I think I'll be ok with that.
