the postal service shut down. THE POSTAL SERVICE for cryin' out loud!!! rain sleet or snow my ass.
i have snow drifts outside my apartment that could probably fill my pants with frozen through the waist. the buses aren't running because there is too much snow for them to get through, let alone get pulled over toward the bus stops and get going again after stopping.
josh and i are blissfully stranded together in my apartment. i can't go to werk. nor can he. but we can wrap presents and get all snuggly/squiggly together. i don't have any eggnog, but i do have hard liquor...
wow. this is awesome. except i kinda miss the kids. but i suppose i should be thankful we're not stuck in that house with them, with all their stir-crazy antics and insanity. and at least i know they're safe and warm (hell they probably couldn't get out the door even if they tried to and no one was paying attention to stop them).
