For the record, I grew up in a small town Selkirk, in Manitoba, Canada.

This is where you all start ganging up on me: It's POP! To me, "soda" is not generic, it is a specific term referring to soda water/seltzer water. The generic word for the beverage is POP :)

Pancake or crepe
10. A long sandwich designed to be a whole meal in itself?

11. The piece of clothing worn by men at the beach?
swim trunks (I hope)

Growing up it was supper, but I call it dinner. My mom always said "dinner means lunch!" but I speak French so whatever.

With my hands usually. Thin crust, bacon and pineapple. yum.
