Weird Questions While Crossing Canada/USA Border.
I didn't forget Boxing Day. Happy holidays to you and yours, belated, Boxing Day celebrants.
Heidi and I traveled across the border and back to celebrate Xmas/Boxing with her dad. That was swell.
On the way, the Canadian-side border guard happened to ask me, the driver, some question to the effect of the ownership of the car (the car was mine), and I didn't hear what he said.
To me, he had asked, "Is there anyone else in your car?"
I responded with a shrug and kept pointing back and forth between the two of us.
I ended up with an apology, stating that I hadn't heard quite what he had said.
He followed with the question, "have you ever had any trouble crossing the border?"
Despite my selective hearing, we were granted access.
