Theoretical financial stuff
So I'm trying to determine how much money I would need if I were to theoretically try to take a 2 week vacation to England. Airfare is easy to figure out, but the other expenses are the tricky parts. I can look up Air + Hotel package details on Orbitz, Expedia, and Travelocity, but that isn't ideal. It would not be my intent to spend 2 weeks in the same area. I know that I would definitely take a trip to Wales...probably Scotland too. So a package deal while being a money saver, is not feasible as I wouldn't be camped out in the same locale the whole time.
I'm wanderlusting, pretty much. I'm tired of the fact that I'm 31 and the only international travel I've done is Canada. I want to go somewhere else for a while just to be able to have done it. I'd love to do it this year, but with two con trips planned, I don't think I've got the income to pull off a two week UK vacation. Dunno though.
