(no subject)
Well this week has been "fun".
I went to the dentist (thanks go out to Tyzach for the recomendation) yesterday and the visit was a lot less traumatic and shorter than I was expecting. I guess Dental technology and customer service has improved in 17 years (yes that was the last time I was in the dentist's chair).
My molar cracked due to extensive decay (oh shocker!), but I was lucky in that the way that it cracked wasn't too close to the nerve (*phew*). I have a medicinal filling in it now to see if it will heal and then we get to talk about next steps.
That would be either the Root Canal -> Crown route or Implant route.
... after reading those wikipedia entries I'm not so sure about this anymore. *sigh* I should just buckle down and do what's best for my teeth, but the idea of any kind of involved surgery gives me the heebie-geebies.
As far as work goes, we are rolling towards AE at full speed and the days are vanishing quickly. My deliverables are getting done, but I'm less ontop of them than I would like to be. To my credit this is my first AE flying solo as an ODL (Operations Delivery Leader) and things haven't blown up yet...so I must be doing something right. Right?
Part of that was because I know when to stay late, or come in really early to get a jump on the work.
Tomorrow is another vacation day for me (*frets*) so I should have some "Me" time and hopefully I'll get to SMN37.
