Beef broth based soup
I'm par-boiling a bunch of beef ribs in preparation for bbqing tomorrow. Now normally I just throw the resulting broth out. . . I don't know why, I just have never really done beef based soups in the past. But it smells pretty darn good.
So far, it's got garlic and onion and pepper and thyme. I'm thinking of throwing in some potatoes and cauliflower and carrots or something, but if any of you have any good beef soup ideas I'd love to hear them.
And yes, I could look in my myriad of cook books but I have such talented friends that I'd like to know what YOU all like. I trust your judgment.
