To be honest ladies and gents, I had completely forgotten I even had a Livejournal until melsbels posted a comment on my brother's wedding post- then the notification showed up in my email. So... thanks mel.

Anyhoo-- been quite a summer for those of you that are out of the loop with what has been going on. I am involved with a program at western called the New Play Project- it's structured like a class, so it seems like, I am taking a class. I say seems like because it's not really "class work" but I still have to pay Western a RIDICULOUS AMOUNT of money to be in the "class." Stupid college. Anyway- the program, at least from my end of it, is to competitively select 15 playwrights' scripts to be performed/produced/cast/directed all by students. WMU's theater department offers up the actors, directors, and such; the playwrights offer up the scripts and ideas for the original intentions of the play. It's a very interesting and fun experience, I would recommend it for all writers/actors who just happen to be at WMU. So, thats been the good part of the summer....
dun dun dunnnnnn

When the summer began, I was living with a "Friend" of mine; said friend will be referred to as "Friend" in this entry for the sake of privacy and for the sake of me not flaming her personally online for the world to see. Even though, we may be at odds at the moment, I still have respect for people...sometimes.
Anyhoo- she said I could live in her 5-person house with her and 2 other girls. Hunky doree. You may be wondering why only 3 girls in 5 person house. I asked- apparently 2 of the girls got in fight with "Friend" and moved out early in the year. Ok. Fine. Not my business.
I ask "Friend," make sure it is cool with your roommates that I live there, I don't want anybody to not want another person in the house, especially a boy in a house of girls. "Friend," says she asked everyone, says it's fine with everyone, and, AND, she doesn't want to charge me rent.
I say, "no," in order for me to live in a house, I am paying something, so that I have a say in what goes on. "Friend" says fine, pay me 185. Ok. Deal.
I move in, not but... 12 hours. Random girl shows up who I do not know- "Who are you," "Why are you here," "Who said you could live here?" ... ... Sweet.
"Friend" never asked the 2 girls that didnt live there (but still payed rent, I find out) if I could live there. Nor did she tell ANY roommates that I was to pay rent. We have two problems here- 1) not making paying tenants aware of an almost subleaser 2) she was undercutting her own rent by not telling anybody about my payments and not sharing with other paying tenants.
Outcome -- landlord gets involved, I get evicted. THIS ALL happened, phone calls, crying, what have you- while I was 2 hours away from 'Zoo in Clarkston, my hometown. My stuff, my computer, my clothes, my FRIENDS COMPUTER, all in a room, in a house, that I am about to be evicted from, 2 hours away, when there's nothing I can do. AWESOME!

So- Luckily a friend of mine, is letting me sublease his place for a really fair amount, because I have not been able to find a second job that will work me during daytime hours. SO it's been a fun summer so far. Not to mention additional side-drama that is driving me up the F*cking wall.
How has your life been world??
