Onward to Satyr Country!
So, I haven't posted about this yet, but now that all arrangements have been made and all parties are informed, I'm pleased to announce that Dami and I will be traveling this weekend to Greece.
Yeah - to fucking GREECE.
This, as you might imagine, thrills Your Humble Satyrblade damn near nigh unto death.
I grew up on tales of classical mythology. Came of age reading Sophocles and Euripides. Chronicled the Black Furies and named myself for the goat-footed god of Arcadian hills. And now, thanks to a group of friends in that country, we're going to visit Greece for real.
Thank you, Haris Odinsson - the mad genius behind our voyage. Thanks to Ioanna, Maria, Nina, Theodora, and everyone else associated with this trip. Thanks especially to Antonios, who first Friended me on Facebook and whose birthday we go to celebrate. Our gratitude cannot be expressed in words... not even when you're as pretentious... I mean, as eloquent as I am. :)
This is gonna rawk. Seriously.
We leave Sunday. Can't wait...
