unexpected...
that is the only word that can do my weekend justice.
Friday night I met up with Amanda and Jen at Circuit...left around 3am, and had an amazingly fun night of dancing with Jen...I can't believe I had so much fun dancing! Other things happened that night too that were definitely unexpected, but I definitely liked them :)
Saturday I spent the day with Amanda, facing the hell of the mall a few days before Christmas. We found ourselves trapped in every store...and very confused when Amanda was looking for shirts at H+M and they were all sized by number...she wouldn't believe me when I said they go by pants size, as she insisted it was impossible...yet every shirt she tried on in her size, somehow miraculously fit! Later that night we met back up with Jen and went to get tattoos at an artist's house. I got a pink and purple skull/heart and crossbones on my left wrist...a dream spot, that unfortunately is having a horrific time healing :( But it's so cute. Amanda's tattoo was much more intricate and painful. After a few hours of tattooing, we went to stargaze, which was pretty lame, but Jen was able to clean up every pool game she played, and Amanda got drunk off one drink! Then we had to find the gay Ihop at 3am to eat, then drive back to Amanda's since both her and Jen had to work in the morning. Seriously, the second we drove up to her house, we all crashed.
Sunday my parents and I worked on setting up my room a bit more...it looks better, but it's still a total mess that I somehow will get through before I go back to school. Also, I had a second set of keys made for the apartment, and still the main door to the place does not have a key copy that works! It's frustrating, just like the fact that AT&T can't set up a damn phone line in my apartment, and that means we will never get the internet at this rate :( Nat and Yvonne came over and it was awesome for us to be hanging out at my apartment. I love my friends :) And I love being able to play pranks with Maia!
Then I was going to go to Hogs and Honey's with Amanda and Jen, but they were closed, so Amanda, T and I went looking for a lesbian bar, went to T's, no one was there, and we had more fun driving around then being in the actual bar. But when we got back to the Green Dolphin to meet up with Jen, what happened there was definitely unexpected, but the highlight of the weekend. And there was some more dancing with Jen, which still surprises me because I have never liked dancing before. The rest of the night resulted in fun at my apartment, some of the most fun I have had in a while, and it's sad that it's over. I know more fun will be had, but you know, sometimes you have such a good day, weekend, experience, that it's sad when it's over...that's how I feel. But I am definitely learning to better try and take one day at a time, and go with the flow, because as much as I plan and go into something thinking I know exactly what will happen, often times something different happens, and it turns out to be even better.
In other news...I can't believe it's Christmas already!
I have also been talking recently to someone who has begun to restore my faith in humanity :)
