An Actual Post!
So what's new in the life of Rachel, other than vacationing? Well, I'm on the waitlist for a Basics of Sculpture Course at UVic, so that will be really fun if I get in. I'm working at my regular job all summer, because even though I only get like 10 hours a week, I don't know that I can actually find another job with the way things are in Victoria right now.
I started watching Community; I'm about halfway through Season 1. This show is a work of genius. Ahbed may actually be one of the best television characters of all time. And it's so unusual for me to watch something and never once have to go "ugh! why did they do that?" ...Uh, knock on wood. Anyway, I guess my point is that not only is this show hilarious, but Ahbed and Troy singing "Somewhere Out There" while Senor and Senora Chang dance to bagpipes honestly warmed the cockles of my heart.
Also been watching totally good music videos. Like this one!
