Oh, yeah, I was thinking about reading Inkheart after seing trailers for the movie (which I presume sucked.) And no, I haven't read past Thursday, and that needs to be fixed.

I don't really know if you're into sci-fi or not, but reading Arthur C Clarke's "2001: A Space Odyssey" was really brilliant. On the graphic novel side of things, I could not have higher praise for the Scott Pilgrim series. There are only 5 volumes out right now, and I think it is only going to get to 6 or 7. It's like, a hip 20-something year old wants to date this girl, but to do so he has to defeat her 7 evil ex-boyfriends. He also plays bass in a band called Sex Bom-omb. He also shares a one room apartment with his gay roomate. They only have one bed.

I have actually read Scott Pilgrim, and I love it. :D I think I may have read 2001, as well, but if so it's been a long time and I should read it again.

Anthony Bourdain - Kitchen Confidential and A Cook's Tour
Italo Calvino - if upon a winter night a traveler
Yann Martel - Life of Pi
E.B. White - Charlotte's Web, Trumpet of the Swan, and Stuart Little
Robin McKinley - The Blue Sword and The Hero and the Crown
Isaac Asimov - the Robot books and/or the Foundation trilogy
Philip K. Dick - Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
Michael Pollan - In Defense of Food and The Omnivore's Dilemma

If you haven't read them all already. :)

I've read some, but some are new to me: I only ever knew EB White wrote Stuart Little and Charlotte's Web, and I've never heard of Calvino. And sadly, I think I've only read like one Asimov book. So I will check these out! Thank you.
