MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE
Before I completely forget, some thoughts on Persona 4, which is amazing.
Okay, I am enjoying this game immensely. But I made a mistake in looking through the artbook first - that pretty much spoiled me for half the visual plot twists in the game, like Naoto, and Teddie, and everyone's Shadows. Oh well!
I really dig the cast, they feel more fleshed out than the cast of P3. Yousuke is adorable, as funny as Junpei without being a carbon clone. And Yukiko and Chie don't really even map onto Mitsuru and Yukari...
The murder mystery element is fun. I think I know who is is, but I'm prepared to be proved wrong.
Brief interlude: OH MAN. Chie/Yukiko forever. CO-DEPENDANT LESBIANS FTW.
I have loved bisexual gangsters for a long time (see also: Bokuto no Ryuu) so I think Kanji will probably turn out to be my favourite character, although Chie is some stiff competition. Seriously, I'm just going to go ahead and interpret Kanji's questionable sexual orientation as a positive message and ignore all the gay panic stuff going on in the background. Kanji and Yukiko can team up to form the Ditzy Bisexuals Club, where they practice their domestic skills and swoon over cute girls and boys all the livelong day.
Another thing I want to see is Kanji/Akihiko. (Kanji bottoms from the top.)
Having just gotten to Rise, I am def. going to be dating her. Just from seeing her briefly I know that I like her waaaaay more than I expected to. But I keep having to surpress "I'm in love with a stripper" jokes while going through her dungeon.
