New Naruto: YEAH WE FINALLY GET TO SEE KUSHINA. She's so pretty! I also love the way she and the Fourth are presented: he's sitting, she's standing, with her hand on his shoulder protectively. That's so cool.
I've been really digging Naruto lately. I haven't been too impressed with Akatsuki so far, but actually, Pain is really quite neat! And the series is still... well, let's just say that I'm not *expecting* it to happen or anything, but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if Sasuke and Naruto kissed again. Just sayin'.
Avatar 3.12: Zuko's little monologues made my heart go pitter-pat. Oh, Zuko, I especially love you when you are making no bones about your complete dorkiness. I also love that he straight-up admitted that he sent the assasin after them, because they sooo easily could have done a "Zuko's keeping this a secret and then it bites him in the ass" plotline, but they didn't.
I love Toph. Have I mentioned this yet? I love her so, so much.
Tramps Like Us 12: Okay, I don't usually talk about this series because I'm not sure anyone on my friendslist follows it. But I've discovered something about myself, which is that I love stories in which unrequited love makes people do terrible things. Like, um, there's this moment in Tess of the D'Ubervilles (bear with me for a moment) where it's revealed that after meeting and falling in love with Angel Clair, one of the dairy maids became an alchoholic, and that's one of the things that's always stuck with me in that book.
So, uh, Fukushima's plotline ending with a fucking cocaine overdose made me ;_; a lot. A *lot.* WHY DO I LOVE YOU SO, BITCHY CATGIRL?
...If this series ends with Sumire becoming Momo's housewife, I will be unhappy. But I don't really think it will. Plz. Maybe some sort of half-and-half where she becomes a freelancer and works from home?
