Saltspring Island
Today, my aunt, sister, Marie and I went on an exciting journey to Saltspring, land of the magical hippies. We went to the market - the, uh, organic, home-made goods market with like a million food stalls with FREE SAMPLES and soap stalls with FREE DEMONSTRATIONS - and looked at all the neat stuff. Then we went to the beach and had a jolly good picnic. Then we had ice cream.
I, of course, brought no money with me, and thus tragically could not get a delightful little jokebook from the 1930s. WAH.
Saltspring is so much fun. Sometimes I think I'd like to live there, it's so peaceful and... well, filled with hippies. And that's a neat lifestyle. But it's not for me. I like cities. I do, however, want to stay there someday, in a nice bed and breakfast place. And go find this mysterious salt spring which I have heard so much about.
