...Have I mentioned that Nel/Clair is my OTP? Or that apparently Shion's voice actress really enjoys playing geeky lesbians? Well, I have now.
Also Adray is very, very special. (Dion and whatsherface just made me laugh, I hate to say it, but it's true.)
And now, a ficbit. Because Nel would *definately* end up wondering this at some point during the first part of the game.

Cliff must have missed something. There's no way he just heard what he thought he did, not here, not from Nel. This is an undiscovered planet. Isn't everyone here supposed to be prudish and sexually repressed? Or at least not so damn frank?
"Are you lovers?" Nel repeats, in a carefully neutral tone of voice. She uncrosses her arms. "If the question offends you, you don't have to answer. I was just wondering."
"Me and...Fayt?" Cliff shakes his head. "Of course not! Why would you think something like that?"
Nel is good at hiding her thoughts, but she seems a little surprised by his answer, and that only makes it worse. "No, never mind," she replies, "it was inappropriate of me. It's none of my business. I just assumed-"
"Assumed what?"
"Well, from what Fayt said, you've been together for a long time, and-" Nel shakes her head. "No, please forget about it."
Cliff offers her a friendly smile in an attempt to loosen her up. Now he needs to know. "No, really, you can tell me, I won't get mad. I'm just curious."
"Alright," replies Nel, then chuckles a little. She's good at playing along, he thinks. "It's really nothing. Just..." She pauses, and suddenly she is thoughtful again, working out what to say. "You look at him like you want to touch him. All the time."
Later, as he sits on his bed and watches the rise and fall of Fayt's chest, he wishes he hadn't asked.
