New clothes and manga babble!
Going back to the eighties with a really neat blue top. Depending on the weather, I may wear it to school tomorrow, so everyone can see its funky glory. Also, a t-shirt with a unicorn on it. SO GOOD.
Picked up the preview of Shoujo Beat today. Crimson Hero looks really awesome, actually, but the rest I could do without. Absolute Boyfriend gets my hackles up because I've learned to beware Watase Yuu. NANA was far too depressing, and I made the mistake of starting to hope for a NANA/Nana (Nana^2?) rabu storii, and was of course sadly disappointed. Baby and Me looks adorable but is not pretty enough to get my money. (Ouran Host Club and Meripuri are sadly not serialized.)
Kaze Hikaru looks cute but MAKES ME SO ANGRY because when I think Shisengumi, I automatically think Hijikata/Okita, and the series would just read to me like a bad Peace Maker Mary Sue fic. Of course, the fortunate side of this quirk of mine is that any and all yaoi written about the Shisengumi is automatically Peace Maker doushinji. Oh, historical slash, I love you so.
Speaking of historical slash, Cornflowers is very closed to finished. Soon everyone will taste the WRATH OF HECTOR/ELIWOOD LOVE. If I can find a beta. I'm not unleashing this monstrosity as is.
