(no subject)
Rich and I got married five years ago yesterday - believe it or not. Unfortunately for me, he is away touring this weekend ( actually not unfortunate, actually very awesome but I digress). He surprised me with dinner on Thursday night at the Afghan Horsemen (yum). Then on Friday I went to stay over with my parents. When I got home on Saturday there was a Sephora bag with some perfume and a lovely little note that he left for me. I am so not the gushy person - especially on the internets - but let me tell you people, I bawled my eyes out. *le sigh*
I was supposed to go out dancing last night and I was so looking forward to it but I woke up yesterday with a worse cough than I'd had all week (I blame the amount of red wine I consumed Friday night with my mom). Anyways, I ended up staying in and stayed in all day today. It's kind of nice to be totally alone and watch dumb shows and be a total lazy person, but I am definitely not used to being on my own. Good thing Rich comes home tomorrow and then next weekend we will all be in Toronto. So pumped!
