Selective purge.
I'm going over my interests, friends, and communities. It's not that I'm disinterested in the things I'm removing; it's just that as I get older and my interests have changed, I'm trying not to cast such a wide net. So, I delete interests that have become more peripheral, and un-join communities I have no time to follow, or which aren't updated any longer, or which no longer hold my interest as they once did.
