success

This week, I'm a winner. (Hopefully it's not too early to say this since I have a 日本語の試験 tonight.) Last week I didn't feel very confident going into my math test in precalc because I'm not caught up on homework and the practice test was written poorly. After taking it, I felt okay about it; it was likely that I have definitely gotten at least a B. And then I got it back on Monday with the highest grade in the class, 200/200. Yay!

I can't get too cocky, though. What I've done is set a high standard for myself that I have to strive to meet. Well, I right now am an A student all around. I get As on my Japanese tests and kanji quizzes; got an A on the one psychology test I had so far. I have to talk myself down sometimes and keep myself grounded. I want to be smart, but I don't want to be that know-it-all bitch. I want to keep getting better. Besides, the community college level isn't as difficult as what I'm heading for next. It's important to work hard and get high grades now so I can work hard later and get...Bs? but not Cs. Eh, what do I know.

In other news, I finally made curry! I made it with beef for the first time; in the past I have only ever used chicken.

mm. If it looks watery, that's only because I'd just taken it out of the the pot at its hottest! It becomes more solid as it cools down. But mm mm mmm (: This weekend I plan to challenge mabodofu again. What do you think I should make for Yamapi's birthday this year? Last year I made chicken curry and strawberry shortcake.

Fandom related, I am wondering if I should buy the NEWS calendar after all...it looks kind of nice :x

And 嵐 continues to be awesome; I hear they've already taken #1 single of the year with Believe/Kumori nochi, Kaisei. I'll say it here to have a record of it: I will buy their next album for sure. :D
