(no subject)
This week was a struggle. 3 quizzes and 3 tests, and I studied hard, especially for biology. I think I did pretty well on all of the tests, on the plus side! Now I don't have to worry as much for school.
The next thing I'm focusing on are applications. I filled out all the paperwork necessary for the Public, Community & Customer Relations internship at the San Diego airport. I hope I get that for this summer! It would help me out a lot, and it sounds like it would be fun. And they pay $12/hr, but that honestly isn't the biggest perk for me. Working in an airport should definitely boost my chances of getting hired as a flight attendant once I'm out of college. So I just need the school to fill out a form for me, and then I can send the application off! The internship is for June-August, so if I mail it on the last day of February, I should be perfect. I hope I can get the interview, because I think I'd do well at that point. Pick me, pick me!
There are also five scholarship applications I am working on. They are all due on March 14, so I have some time. I need to get the recommendation letters together, write a few more essays...for one, they want you to be actively involved in the community/the college or have 25 documented hours of community service. But I've been so busy working part-time, the last time I did community service was at the end of last March. I have 25 hours, but they're from Nov 2006 to March 2007. I don't think that'll fly very well, so I'm scrambling to get 25 hours of newer community service in these next two weeks. Good thing tests are over for now! Today I don't feel like writing essays, however.
Today I received both copies of Taiyou no Namida in the mail :"> But what do I do with these CDs? I never even opened any of the four November releases. Next time NEWS releases a CD, I will only buy one copy. I shouldn't spend so much money! Before the CDs, I picked up Yamapi's FLIX, though; that's really really nice. I'll show it to my manager tomorrow at work xD In other news, I calculated that I've spent about $750 on JE. Yes.
A lot of my flist is going through rocky, troubled times right now. Hang in there, everyone! You are definitely stronger than your problems. Let the love in your hearts fuel you through life, okay? Let's all be happy together.
It feels good to be (reasonably? fairly?) on top of things. I want to go shoe shopping, but I have a lot of shoes already...I may need to get some new clothes, though...this post is all over the place, isn't it?!
