The banter, the witty reparte - the *casting* is just PERFECTION. And they've managed to tread the fine line between sherlock the human and sherlock the mad deducting machine so very neatly. I just. This series is SO PERFECT. Sherlock can't really be shooting VR in the ceiling, but the smiley face? It was a nice way of marrying the two cannons. and MYCROFT. IS AMAZING. That little sneer at the idea of 'legwork'? The quasi homoerotic that manages to give the fangirls plenty whilst also not being horrible, overtly slashy or in any way differing from the relationship from the original cannon?
The only thing that sucks is that there are only 3 godamn episodes, and another year until some more.
