(no subject)
1. Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irene did not, happily, wash away the east coast--which is great because many good people live on the east coast and if they'd been washed way I would've been sad.
2. After seeing this--
--I continue to be pretty certain that I totally want to hit that. Yeah, I know Jo Calderone = Lady Gaga. Does that matter? No. Bring me Jo Calderone.

3. DOCTOR WHO IS BAAAAAAACK. You can read what I thought of "Let's Kill Hitler" here. Also, between Alex Kingston, Karen Gillan, and Matt Smith, not sure who I'd like to cuddle up to more. Open love commune?
4. I wrote some poetry late last night but I'm not sure how I feel about it. *shrug* I don't think I'm that good with verse anyway (as opposed to prose), but sometimes the urge hits me out of nowhere and it's just like, "Welp, might as well." In this case, it was something someone said to me yesterday that stuck in my head until I was half-asleep. I dunno. It's alright. I guess. I love the intimate feel of it but I'm not sure if I like how it's ended currently. At the same time, I'm worried that if I mess with it further, I'm going to fuck all up because my poems tend to fall apart when I carry a metaphor through too far. Meeeeeh.
I'll send it to a couple trusted eyes and see what they tell me. They're trusted eyes for a reason.
